Summer’s Pesto Crostini
This week we have a recipe submitted by Summer, our youngest pesto extraordinaire. She’s been working with the family business since the shutdown last spring and prefers her pesto super fresh.
Ingredients
One Baguette, sliced into ¼ inch pieces and toasted.
Vegetaball’s Pesto
Fresh Mozzarella
Balsamic Glaze
Spread a dollop of pesto onto each of the toast slices. Layer a spoonful of bruschetta on top of the pesto and top with a slice of fresh mozzarella. Broil in the oven until the cheese is melted. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or a balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil!
