Pesto Burgers - 2 ways
Happy unofficial start to summer everyone! This week, we’ve two different recipes exploring pesto burgers. Paul’s pesto burgers are full of strong garlic and cheesy flavors while the turkey pesto burgers are lighter and can be topped with fresh basil and arugula to accent this sweet summer quality.
Paul’s Pesto Burgers
Ingredients
1 lb Hamburger
2 tbsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
Cheese for melting
Garlic Parmesan sauce
Vegetaball’s Pesto
Hamburger buns
Burger: Mix hamburger with Montreal Steak Seasoning, grill until medium done, add cheese to melt, and remove from grill.
Bun: Spread the top bun with Vegetaball’s Pesto, and the bottom bun with a garlic parmesan sauce.
Combine and serve!
Turkey Pesto Burgers
Ingredients
1lb. ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup Vegetaball’s pesto or 1/4- 1/2 cup Vegetaball’s Hot Pepper Pesto
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Buns, arugula, freshly sliced tomatoes
Mix ground turkey with breadcrumbs, pesto, and grated Parmesan.
Form into patties.
Grill patties. Serve on buns with more pesto, arugula and fresh tomatoes.
